License & Launch

licensing + deploymentLicense, Build, and Launch Sensor-Informed Clinical AI Agents

MetaBrain Labs combines senior-led consulting, patented closed-loop AI architecture, and hands-on deployment guidance to help clinical platforms create safe, task-specific agents. We typically begin with a paid, focused pilot so the organization can evaluate the architecture in a real use case before making a larger implementation commitment.

During the pilot, we work with your clinical, product, and engineering leaders to define the agent’s role, sensor and data inputs, decision boundaries, validation steps, human oversight, and escalation rules. MBL configures and operates the AI agents and orchestration while connecting securely to your existing environment, allowing your team to validate the model without receiving the underlying implementation know-how.

Once the pilot is validated and you are ready to scale, your team can build and operate the production capability within its own technology environment. We provide the patented architecture, implementation blueprint and framework, Agent Studio, training, deployment expertise, and commercial patent rights needed to launch responsibly. We do not sell a SaaS platform, transfer source code, or require vendor lock-in.

What MBL Provides

Senior-Led Agent Strategy
Work directly with experienced leaders across clinical workflows, sensor technologies, AI-agent architecture, product strategy, and regulated deployment.

Task, Workflow & Pilot Design
Define one focused use case, intended users, data sources, agent interactions, decision boundaries, human review requirements, measurable outcomes, and the integration needed for a controlled pilot.

MBL-Operated Pilot
MBL configures and operates the Agent Studio, AI agents, orchestration, guardrails, and closed-loop workflow during the pilot. We connect to your environment through a defined gateway so you can evaluate the technology without receiving MBL’s underlying implementation know-how.

Patent License & Implementation Transfer
Use of MBL’s patented architecture is licensed for the agreed pilot and use case. If you choose to scale after validation, we can provide broader commercial patent rights, the implementation blueprint, Agent Studio deployment, training, and knowledge transfer needed for your team to build and operate independently.

How We Work

1. Define the Pilot
Select one focused clinical, research, or operational use case. Together we define the sensor or data inputs, trigger conditions, agent role, decision boundaries, intervention rules, human oversight, and measurable outcomes.

2. Build & Run the Paid Pilot
MBL configures and operates the AI agents, Agent Studio, orchestration, guardrails, and closed-loop workflow. We connect to your existing environment through a defined gateway so you can test the architecture without receiving MBL’s implementation know-how.

3. Validate the Model
Evaluate whether the pilot produces the intended clinical, research, data-quality, safety, or operational value. The goal is to prove the use case before either side invests in a larger deployment.

4. License, Transfer & Scale
If you decide to move forward, MBL provides the broader patent license, implementation blueprint, Agent Studio deployment, training, and knowledge transfer. Your team can then build and operate the capability within your own technology environment.

Licensing Model

Engagements typically begin with a paid pilot that includes limited patent rights for the defined use case. During the pilot, MBL operates the Agent Studio, AI agents, and orchestration while the customer evaluates the technology within its own environment.

Following a successful pilot, organizations that want to build and operate the architecture independently can enter a broader patent licensing and technology-transfer engagement. This may include:

  • Upfront patent licensing and technology-transfer fee
  • Implementation blueprint and licensed know-how
  • Knowledge transfer to clinical, product, and engineering teams
  • Agent Studio deployment and implementation enablement
  • Training to build, configure, and operate agents independently
  • Defined products, applications, use cases, or fields of use
  • Ongoing royalties or other usage-based licensing terms
  • Optional advisory and implementation support

The patent license provides the legal right to practice MBL’s protected closed-loop architecture. The technology-transfer component provides the practical knowledge, implementation methodology, training, and tools needed to build and operate that architecture within the organization’s own technology environment.

Licensing terms are tailored to the scope of deployment, patent rights required, implementation needs, and commercialization plan.

Licenses may be non-exclusive or, where appropriate, exclusive within a defined field of use, product category, territory, or commercial channel, subject to existing rights and negotiated commercialization obligations.

Optional Ongoing Advisory Services

After technology transfer, MetaBrain Labs can remain available as needed for:

  • Additional use-case and agent architecture development
  • New sensor and data-source integration strategy
  • Clinical workflow and intervention design
  • Validation and governance review
  • Guardrail, escalation, and human-oversight design
  • Expansion into additional products or fields of use
  • Patent licensing strategy for expanded implementations
  • Advanced training for new internal teams

Ongoing advisory services are optional. Our goal is to equip your organization to build and operate independently under the licensed MBL architecture.
